These Terms and Conditions govern the policies and regulations followed by Sardana International School, a CBSE-affiliated, full-residential school in Dewas, MP. By seeking admission or using our services, you agree to abide by the following rules:

1. Admission & Fees – General Rules & Guidelines

Admission

  • All candidates for admission must be introduced personally by the guardian who shall be held responsible to the Principal.
  • Admission is subject to seat availability and merit.
  • Students must have completed 6 years by 30th September of the academic year to qualify for admission to Grade I. An original Birth Certificate must be submitted.
  • A Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate is mandatory for students transferring from other recognized schools. If transferring from another state, the certificate must be counter-signed by that state's education authority.
  • No admissions shall be processed via recommendation or informal means.
  • The school reserves the right to grant or deny admission based on its discretion.

Conversion Form

  • Students from Playgroup to Grade 1 must fill a Conversion Form and raise an Invoice as per the annual schedule for promotion to the next class.
  • Non-submission by the last date will be treated as withdrawal, and the seat will be reallocated.
  • No late applications will be entertained.

2. Fee Policy

  • Annual fees are payable in one-time or scheduled installments before the due dates.
  • Post-dated cheques (PDCs) are required if opting for installments.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • Additional charges apply for:
    • Educational tours, competitions, board/competitive exams
    • Textbooks, uniforms, canteen services, sports accessories, etc.
  • Annual fee hike of 10%–12% is applicable for most grades.
  • Transport fees (if opted for) are charged term-wise.
  • Shifts/Divisions are assigned solely at the discretion of the school.
  • Rs. 2500 will be charged for any approved change in batch/division.
  • Bonafide certificates (Rs.150) and duplicate IDs (Rs.200) are issued upon request.
  • Mid-year withdrawals must clear full-year dues to receive No Dues and Leaving Certificates.
  • The school reserves the right to revise fee structures as necessary.

3. Complimentary Student Kit

  • A standardized student kit may be issued before the academic year starts.
  • Parents must check all items upon receipt. No replacements, exchanges, or complaints will be accepted thereafter.

4. Attendance & Leave Policy

  • Full-day attendance is compulsory; half-day leaves are not permitted.
  • Students must attend the first and last days before/after holidays.
  • Minimum 75% attendance is required to be eligible for final exams.
  • Absences due to illness must be supported by a medical certificate.
  • No re-tests or re-exams will be conducted unless in serious cases, with Principal's approval.
  • Prior written approval is mandatory for early departures during school hours.
  • Habitual latecomers will face disciplinary action.

5. Uniform & Grooming

Students must wear the prescribed school uniform with approved shoes, identity cards, and accessories.

Personal grooming standards must be met:

  • Boys must have trimmed hair; girls must tie or plait hair.
  • No fancy hairstyles, jewelry, watches, or colored items allowed.
  • Only black accessories and school-approved sweaters/cardigans permitted.

6. Prohibition of Mobile Devices

  • Mobiles, tablets, and similar gadgets are strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Confiscated items will only be returned to parents by the Principal.
  • Cyber misconduct involving the school will lead to serious action.
  • In emergencies, parents should contact the school reception directly.

7. Homework Policy

  • Parents must ensure that children complete homework regularly.
  • Secondary students must submit assignments on time.
  • Incomplete work may result in exclusion from classroom activities.

8. Canteen Services

  • The school canteen serves nutritious, hygienic snacks at reasonable prices.
  • Hygiene standards are strictly followed.

9. Birthday Celebrations

  • Birthdays are kept simple.
  • Only dry, eggless cakes (max 1 kg, without cream) are allowed.
  • No chocolates, gifts, or photography permitted.
  • Students may wear modest casual clothes.
  • Cakes can be pre-ordered from the school canteen.

10. General Terms

  • The school reserves the right to amend any rule or regulation at any time without prior notice.
  • All decisions made by the school regarding admissions, conduct, academics, and discipline shall be final and binding.
